Firing Myself!

its time

Hey Founders and Friends,

I’ve made the tough decision to fire myself - as head editor of this newsletter. In order to get to the next level, I’ve got to bring in some help.

My posts have gotten a lot longer; we started at 500 words per post - now we’re up to 2,000. And in some cases, I have to read multiple books to round out the story I want to tell.

I’ve also gotten a lot of feedback from you all that made me realize that I needed to clean up the categories.

Some of you asked for a quicker way to decide what to read - because I had too many categories to pick from. Others wanted the ability to search for problems you need to solve in your business - or problems you want to avoid. So, I broke everything up into 4 different categories that address your needs.

If you’re just starting out in your business, the two categories I recommend you start with are Product-Market Fit and Competitive Advantage.

If you want to build a business that lasts for generations, I recommend you start with: Mistakes Founders Make and Longevity in Business.

This means I have to go back and make sure that the old posts accurately represent these categories - right now, I know some of them do, some of them don’t. It also means I have to trash my entire backlog - the posts I pull from when I’m really busy with work, and don’t have time to get something new out.

This is a good thing - It’s better to give you guys what you want to read about, than to give you guys what I want to write.

So, I’m also temporarily reducing my post frequency to every two weeks.

Let me know if you have any biographies or autobiographies that you’d like me to cover. I’m rebuilding the backlog from scratch and can use all the help I can get!

Talk soon,

LaToya
